The turbo-Advance has one pro over the Magnum : it doesn’t have slam-fire, so if you mod it (remove the AR, stronger spring) you can disarm it by holding the pump back while pulling the trigger.

We've had the Dart Zone Magnum for a couple weeks and we fight over who gets to use it in any nerf battle... Easy to use. Easy to reload. Fast and accurate. Customized the forearm support (that Coop removed) and painted it for fun... Just a really fun blaster!

Fair, but I still prefer the Turbo Advance. I like the look and narrower profile and I can't stand a top-prime slide on something of that length. Best to keep that to the Strongarm and Disruptor and such.

For me turbo advance > magnum Magnum seems smaller at first but good the thing is so weird to wield because of the huge magazine. Like a disruptor on steroids I like that I can switch darts. Means you could potentially switch between differerent dart types with one switch.

Dart zone magnum is like the calling card from unturned, it reminds me of the ppsh - 41 and i could probably use it as my secondary in a nerf battle. The calling card is also a tommy gun type...thing, and the calling card can be equipped as a secondary ;D

The ergonomics of pump action trumps slam fire, in my opinion. But the only real way to settle this is to have a series of tests that culminates in a 1 v 1 shoot off, in an obstacle course.

Well coop there’s a problem with having a high cap mag nerf elite darts are kinda expensive so if u want lots for a 35 round drum your gonna have to spend a lot of money

Not particularly relevant to this particular video, but I can't seem to find a general discussion section on your channel, so I'll ask here. lol I received a Modulus Recon MK II for my birthday, which was at the end of July. While I do have a Modulus Stryfe now and have some larger magazines coming in the mail from Amazon, I do still like to plink around with the Recon MK II once in a while. My question is this; what stock do you recommend for a Recon MK II, if someone were to bother mounting a stock at all? I found a nice Worker stock on Amazon, but I think it would work better on my Stryfe and doubt it would even fit on the Recon MK II because of that... thing in the back that's poking out of the stock mount. And as you know, the Recon MK II's included stock is too short. So what do I do?

I've had the turbo advance for over 2 years now and it is amazing I like it more because of the ergonomics and the pump action it has a bigger grip and it's slam fire it is probably my favorite "nerf" blaster edit: am I the only person with a orange barell in mine and slam fire

Very late to the party here, but I'd like to weigh in on a couple more Pros and Cons for the DartZone Magnum... Pros: Availability, at least in my area. I can find the DartZone in any Target right now. I had to go to BassPro to find a TurboAdvance, which is a weird place to find a foam blaster. Speed. If you watch Coop's videos on these two you'll note there IS a significant difference in FPS on these blasters. Both shoot to Elite standards but the Magnum is superior out of the box. Cons: Darts. For a company called DartZone, they're very stingy with the darts, giving you enough to load the blaster one time. Contrast this to the Turbo Advance coming with 96 darts! (Edited to remove my original opinion on the dart quality. Subsequent testing and examination has shown there's nothing at all wrong with the quality of DartZone darts, just the quantity. Sorry I got it wrong!) The cylinder. The molding is terrible on this, the barrels are slightly different sizes which leads to you having to cram some darts in (regardless of the make of darts, I've tried multiple brands) while other barrels hold them too loosely which means if you don't pay attention loading it some darts will fall out in play. Skipping. While we're on the cylinder, it sometimes skips a dart in normal firing OR in slamfire. Not a huge issue when you're firing 40 darts but worth pointing out, particularly in conjunction with its tendency to have darts slip out. Still, the Magnum's a great out of the box blaster and with its affordability and availability I'd recommend it to someone just entering the hobby. Personally, though, the TurboAdvance is my very favorite dart blaster and I'll run that in a war any day over the Magnum.

now that the tomahawk 60 is out, teh magnum beats the turbo advance all day. ive been making loadouts for HvZ for supplymen/ammo mules/quartermasters and any situation where a springer magless blaster is used, the magnum has teh far easier to use profile for the kit it goes with. any time someone would want to use a turbo advance, i would suggest a tomahawk 60 at that point.

The turbo advance is soooo much better. You can have accufakes on one layer of the drum and elite in the other, also pump action is the next best after flywheels (flywheel master race!!!). and the turbo advance is more erganomic and the drum won’t smash into doorways when you are running around.
