Super helpful. Has anyone seen a way to do this but where you would modify the date let say. add 1 day to everyone one of them? I'm looking for a way to renumber something so I want to +1 to every instance found. Thanks

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to accomplish this from within vscode's find and replace box. However, JavaScript does support passing a function to the regex replace() method. It accepts the capture group information so you can programmatically modify it before making the substitution. Here is the relevant section in the MDN docs. developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/String/replace#specifying_a_function_as_the_replacement
