VSOE April and May 2024

Depuis environ deux mois, le VSOE (Venice Simplon-Orient-Express) passe presque chaque semaine le long de mon beau village.
C'était encore le cas samedi en fin de matinée. Le VSOE est remonté vers Paris avant de repartir le lendemain en direction du festival de Cannes.
Le voici filmé dans la belle campagne de Seine-et-Marne (et dans l'Yonne !) le mois dernier et ce week-end.
Au passage, un grand merci à l'ADC de la BB 22348 hier à Etigny pour son sympathique coup de sifflet. Je sais qu'il y avait du monde le long du parcours (pour l'instant, j'ai vu des photos prises à Sens (juste avant Etigny), puis plus loin (Meursault, par exemple)...
For nearly two months now, the famous Venice Simplon-Orient-Express can be seen almost every week near my village, mostly on the route between Venice and Paris Gare d'Austerlitz. However, sometimes there are a few changes, for instance like yesterday (12/05) when the train departed from Paris Gare de l'Est as it has been hired for the Cannes Film Festival. Also, most of the time the train can be seen near my place on thursdays, but since two or three weeks, it has moved on to sunday.
Although I take pictures of the train almost every week since the end of March, I don't always bring my camcorder with me. You can find the pictures on my website www.balade-en-...
So, here are just a few sequences from last month (11/04) and this weekend (11 and 12/05/2024).
I hope that you will enjoy the train (that is for sure !), but also the pleasant french countryside south from Paris !
