gabble mejia yes, you are absolutely correct... I live in Jakarta - Indonesia and I was a teenager when I heard this song for the first time, it was late 70's to early 80's. Pak Budi was also correct that this song was so popular in Jakarta. Although I do not understand Tagalog but the tune, the melody, the music they played until now are acceptable to me and also at that time disco music was at the top position wherever in this world... so really music is universal, indeed...

very chaotic now in manila, lots of people from provinces came and it became very overpopulated. the provinces are probably better now than before though
