From 2010 to 2015 rode suzuki gs150R for almost 87k kilometres, the only work done on the motorcycle was the clutch plate and chain sprocket set change. Suzuki by far the most reliable motorcycle brand in India.

Maintenance and long term reliability is where the difference will come out . Speed 400 is pocket rocket . Suzuki is very reliable I owned a gs150r and subsequently a gixxer250 they have been ultimate reliable rides. I do minor services myself and the cost is next to nothing . Oil filter is 56 rupees , drain plug washer is 20 rupees , filter o ring is again 20 odd rupees and 900 odd bucks for a can of motul 7100 . You can buy all the spares over the counter and go to your favourite mechanic . You can’t do these with triumph. Limited dealers and premium tag guaranty exorbitant prices .

I did the service of my speed 400 myself, the oil filter is 78rs, filter o ring is 6 rs. Motul7100 10w 50 was around 1300. Air filer is 350rs.

Power is not the problem for vstrom, it has decent power but suzuki should provide usd forks, tft screen and switchable abs and speedometer with less errors.

Mene dominar se ladakh kiya he & spiti rs200 se kiya he, 400 cc se 200 cc experience kiya, spiti July me barish me rs200 se mujhe koi power issue nahi aya,abhi addvanture bike dekh raha hu, my first choice vstrom 250👌, Japanese bike smooth & mailgae.

Dear bro compare v storm with Triumph Srambler as both are adventure tourer. Speed 400 is a roadster and should not be compared with V Storm. According to SIAM data sales figure of Suzuki V Storm is less than 100 units per month in India and sales no of Triumph 400 is more than 3200 units per month Triumph 400 series bikes are internationally superhit and are being exported to many countries

The reason for Low sales of V strom is Suzuki is not ready to listen customers. Since launch there is no updates in Gixxer series both 150 and 250 and V Storm also. 2) Part availability and unavailability of trained staff for these bike servicing. Suzuki satisfied in selling scooters in India Sir i have seen your most of videos however this Comparison is not justified.
