These trains are really old, it’s time for VTA to order new set of light rail trains like Siemens S70/700 to replace their Kinki Sharyos because these are over 20 years old and its time for the replacements to newer ones.

I noticed VTA is publishing a tender for some new LRV's, specifically a prototype for a replacement, we shall see what they're replacing them with. procurement.opengov.com/portal/vta/projects/88595
