WOW!! This is the closest to a streaming concert as we will ever likely get. Sans Maynard The Patient gives me Pneuma feels/vibes.. This is so awesome!

Yes! Hearing the instrumental made me realise how similar it is to Pneuma

Pneuma gives Patient vibes** Patient was almost 20 years prior!

It gives you those vibes because they take so long to write music that even tunes released in 2019 have been being worked since at least the 10k days sessions, and in the case of the main riff on “Tempest” since freaking UNDERTOW. They are my favorite band and always will be, but it’s hard to deny at this point that their songs are not a variation on a single riff.

We need the entire Tool discography with just this, the 3 playing on trash gear! It hits me different being able to hear each notes, it's WAY more organic and I love it as a musician and a Tool fan!

Never thought about it this way but this is the most insane power trio of all time without Maynard.

Just like Maynard could make any bad amazing by association the same is true with them. Ariana Grande could do an album with them and it'd be amazing.

Triad is an absolute banger of an instrumental. But Maynard turns everything he touches to pure gold.

Love How danny speaks when answering a question. Almost a, “huh” in front before letting people across the room know what’s needs to be said. 🤘🏻 He said, did you hear that snare drum on the breakdown on the patient? My left stick touched the bottom skin
