Brilliant idea: what a tone, what a touch ! I like your ESP T style HH guitar: nice and classy. Greets from France Todd 🇫🇷 Edit: what's the OD you are using on your rig ? Thanks :)

From the beginning of this video I have the amp (JOAT 1x12" Combo) dialed up well beyond halfway so it is on the verge to begin with. I guess I didn't really do a "clean tone" demo here :) :) All the additional boosted examples are from the VTLD1 Boost until we get to about 5:47 where I kick in some delay and a bit of my Blackstone Appliances OD pedal. I have an Ibanez Classic Metal Pedal on the board but I never turned it on for this clip.

@@toddsharpamps Your tone and playing are great Todd: I have been following you since “Who I Am”… long time now. For OD, I use a Super Signa made by Chad Matthews. The guy builds awesome pedals, but very unfortunately lost everything during the great flood in Nashville. A real shame :(

Hello Todd; that sound is heavenly, and the VTLD is quite a thing - one question - is the OD coming all from your JOAT ?? If so - I am amazed how great the delay sounds in front of the amp...; Greetings from Germany; Markus

Hey there! Sounds like a great product. Is the boost pre loop or post loop? If pre, can it still be used if you don’t have anything in the loop or would you simply put a patch cable in the Send/return to use it without a pedal board?
@toddsharpamps Жыл бұрын
Boost is pre rather than post efx. The loop is normalled (Drive to Recover) when nothing plugged into those jacks and the Boost is always active except when Bypass is selected.

@@toddsharpamps So the boost is sending more signal to efx input?
@toddsharpamps Жыл бұрын
Yes the boost is in front of the pedals. Thanks for your question@@MartinPorto

Is this designed to work on amps without efx loops? Or either? Cheers
@toddsharpamps Жыл бұрын
. The VTLD is an efx loop for your pedalboard designed to go in front of your amp's input. Guitar - VTLD1 - with Pedals in Drive/Recover loop - Amp input. There is a how to hook up the VTLD1 video here: studio.kzbin.infojmLpM82P27E/edit for more info visit: www.toddsharpamps.com/products/vtld1 Thanks for your question
