How do I apply the distress ink without having the marks of the pad visible? Seems like everytime I try and do what you are doing I have dark areas of ink and can see where I swirled the foam applicator.

Amber Thomasson start off of the paper and slowly move toward the paper. Takes practice. Also giving the foam applicator a tad of a tilt helps. There are vids of Tim Holtz giving tips. Of course i say all this while also being cruddy at blending but it really does take practice
