Back when football mattered and when the fans of all clubs really meant something to the club they support. Now your just a customer. What a video.

Best times of my life, I can remember this like it was yesterday. Can even remember the coach turning right at the lights and the roar of the fans . For me this Everton side 84-85-86 the greatest side ever. Priceless memories

I went to London a few days before, Picked up a couple of extra tickets from a lad who was a blue but lived near Baker street! If you look at the vid again where they swing into the last bend and the Beeb say The supporters are now thing out! I popped up Richy Styles me in my Green army Jacket dancing in front of and a minute later at the side! I timed that perfect as I had just got there and was heading for the Tunnel Door's! All the Neighbours told me I was on TV but this is the first time I have seen it! So Thanks to who Ever Posted this! My kids have just seen it too! They cant beleive I had that much Hair! ha ha ha

How incredible is this football is so shit now, this is on a different level break passion fa cup really meant something, ok you did not get the the sell our cardboard cut outs you get now and the free flags, the clappers but occasions like this were unique real fans, Everton the following seasons would get huge crowd's you never see fans like this again.and Wembley was awesome 100 k with terraces , fa cup final was just amazing this era telly coverage too

@@kx9651 God I loved Saturdays. On the coach. Transit or train (with 2-4-1 tickets in washing powder) get there and pay on the gate. Big decision home or away end... When home marched along the sideline claiming you did it by mistake.. F**k sky TV. Season tickets. Private boxes. Corporate entertainment and wearing club strips over a hoody.. 70-80s ICF..
@johnnyretro19754 жыл бұрын
its brilliant to see that following the fans on the trains they should done that every year great build up

I'm so glad I grew up in this era. Now football has been gentrified and is wank. I'm a lifelong City fan and I'd swap all the recent success to go back to 1984! The first thing I'd do is build Maine Rd again and move back!! Football would be all we talked of at school and who was scariest mob that had come to Maine Rd. We knew every little ginnel, alley and gib through and ambush points. But we all loved City and still do. Hate this pseudo psychology bollocks that the football hooligan doesn't like football? Even the ex players didn't understand it listen to St John and Greaves they ain't got a clue. We loved our club to the extent of fighting for its name and reputation and also our city and area. The greedy fuckers who run our once working class game have killed the best cup competition the game has ever produced by playing semis at Wembley, prostituting the traditional kick off time for overseas viewers on TV and just squeezing every penny out of the competition. The Premier League is a fat cats toy who's run by betting companies and Gambling giants. Why has VAR come in? Taking more chance out of the game to help the bookies? Make it more "exciting " for punters at home? The game worked well for 100+ years . Don't get me started on these young uns swanning round in Stone Island gear at the match nowadays! If they went to one match in 84' they'd never go again! Don't remember us all wearing the same gear either it's like a fuckin uniform they wear nowadays?
