Wow learned to Swim here with Ribbleton Ave juniors early 70's. Oxo down stairs brilliant memories. Was cold but not as cold as Waverley Park!

Learnt to swim in the learners pool. Cup of Oxo after at the cafe. Magnificent building really.

Could stay all day for 25p.. hot chicken soup machine.. and no life guard seem to be around when you or your mates nearly drowned each other... ha good times
