@@LordMaulington Ended up not needing them. I tend to play longer streams in the background while wasting my life away with HOI4 or any other PDX game. Good work all around. Regarding fishman's decision to move into a brand growth phase once they reach 30 talents, Hololive actually announced they would stop releasing gens as well for the same reason. Growing talent brand instead of rapid-firing more gens to see what sticks. Niji could learn something from that to get away from ACCELERATE. Personally, I just hope Pippa doesn't get burnt out. From what I can tell, vtubing really helped her get out of her depression and rot in large ways and I'd hate to see her lose that and fold back into the mold again. So the company growing and management continuing to be goated is great all around. Also yes, more vtubers need to have a dedicated tatas-out button.

Not gonna lie though, I personally hope Sayu will join Phase like you did, as this means a lot for Phase Connect. Like can you imagine having an Ex-Niji member under Phase Connect? That could open up a lot potential future ex-niji talent to be poached by Fishman Sakana, like damn.

Didn't end up waking at 5am to catch live unfortunately but I will try and make part 2. I more or less agree with your broad outlook. I completely agree with your scepticism towards IDOLCORP. They may be clearly better than Niji (a very low bar to clear) but their focus on "transparency" is clearly a gimmick and a cynical PR/Marketing move. Pippa and Dizzy seemed to take a veiled jab at them in a collab ages ago that I cam across interestingly enough. The way they terminated Rio was downright disgusting and on par with a Niji termination notice. It strongly implied but did not explicitly state that she had sex with a manager and fans. Something that probably didn't happen but they wanted people to think happened. Regarding LM he is doing independent consulting work where he will essentially propose a draft contract template for talent, along with recommendations that Idol can choose what if any of the suggestions they adopt or not. LM has said he's also personally advised the ceo on other matters too like not engaging with trolls and Vtweeters.... it's worrying that he had to tell him this but good that he's listening atleast. Their termination of Rio was also dumb because it created hype for Kyoresu who handled the termination better than Idol and has jumpstarted her indie career off the back of it. How phase handled their termination was actually the reason I gave them a chance at all. While phase obviously has cliques their is a much stronger sense of comradery amongst talent than other corpos. With Clara and her explosive growth, it didn't come from nowhere she has three past lives including 2 corpo roles she has been grinding for years before taking off at phase. A LOT of her clippers have said she was their introduction to phase connect. She is certainly raising the profile of Phase connect as a whole and I see her bilingul fans in JP chat translating for EN fans. Especially in Yuu streams.

Also worth noting that, you don't see many Phase Connect fan go out their way to harrass Yuri after she graduated/terminated, most of the fans are merely disappointed at what Yuri has done due many of the phase connect fans are actually hoping yuri will stay regardless her blunders. While Jelly did somewhat jokingly say that she "tolerate" her fans, actually it goes both way, most of the fans are "tolerate" their phase oshi as well

Another worth noting that, Shiina did say that their relationship with co-workers are pretty much very professional. And this probably avoided a lot of unnecessary conflict between talents, not to mention management did contribute a lot as well to resolve conflict between talent, for example Pippa and Clara..

@@dood52751 Phase has great tard wranglers but also tards that are OK with being wrangled. In the case of Pippa and Clara, it was just a matter of facilitating them meeting IRL. Clara is very sweet but her hysterical energy is something I could see intimidating quieter people lol. Once Pippa realised that Clara was just mental and not fake she grew to like her pretty quickly. I haven't seen any phase fans go after Yuri. Maybe some did but the consensus seems to be that fans have enough trust to accept it was probably justified but termination was WAY WAY more professional than Nijisanji or Idol. They refused to give details and in hindsight it seems like they actively took measures to not destroy her. They let her upload a goodbye video and their NDA seems like it applies to them as well. Fishman even said something to the effect of "It's not fair for me or phase to criticise the former talent on any platform when the talent cannot comment herself". Hell Pippa even bought Nanobites merch on stream with chat which would be like a Nijisanji liver buying doki or Sayu merch on stream. I'm a nosey person and I want to know what actually happened but to the credit of all parties, there is no concrete info available only 4Chan RRATS.
