I remember watching this episode for the first time, I kept holding back tears, but I cracked when he started crying while remembering Nagisa. No other anime has made me feel genuine sadness like this, except maybe Plastic Memories is a close 2nd.

Same. I was able to stay strong for the field scene but cutting to the train and doing a rapid flashback of Nagisa while he was crying just isn't fair. It's reminding us of the good times we experienced with them, bringing back the pain of her death, and makes you wish for her to still be there as if she was a real person all in 15 sec along with the MC tying us even closer emotionally to him for the meteor of feels that hits later and the reason I can't listen to snowfields without tearing up.

26:16 初回でここまで考えが及んで的確に言及できるみあちに感心。 この古河夫妻の配慮込みでさらに泣けるんですよね。 自分は感動シーンにやられすぎて初回でそこまで想像することができなかった。

I see her pain at not having her mother and father with her... and then when I see Tomoya start to remember Nagisa, I see how he hasn't talked about her, how he hasn't remembered her in these years... and I see his grief and his pain as vivid as the first day... and it's an explosion of pain and sorrow... immeasurable...

why did I watch this..?? gosh.. I've tried so hard to forget and not to rewatch any of Clannad episodes, and yet here I am... After Story is just painfull to watch... I just couldn't... just by remembering the soundtrack is enough for my tears to pour down like a thunderstorm... even worse at Ushio's arc... I couldn't hold back my emotion... man, my head hurts... Clannad will always be one of my top favorite anime, but I just don't want to rewatch any of it... my kokoro is not strong enough to watch it more than twice...

アニメ自体が素晴らしいのは勿論だけど、こういうCLANNADリアクション動画見るたびに感情は伝播するってのがひしひしと感じるよね。 普段の生活で相手に対する態度とか気をつけないといけないと思う。
