Is vedal a indie vtuber? since I haven't heard or seen him talk about any agency as he was a part of a group, i'm confused about the whole vtubing thing like how agencies hire talents to do things while the talent have their own streams and such, like whats up with that? Are they part time working for a agency or is the streaming just part of the job they were hired for? I know filian is a indie vtuber but is wondering about if camila, vedal, Anny and toma is part of agency or are they all indie vtubers?

@MNM-lq9te I believe they are all independent. Generally most talent hired by the agencies were Vtubers before that, and they take on a new persona.

@@MNM-lq9te I'm pretty sure they're all a part of Mythic Talent except for Toma (although I could be wrong). Although Mythic isn't exactly a "vtuber" agency they're just a content creator agency in general

@@Mykaria i did some research after posting my comment and yea they are all part of mythic talent except Toma, i am frankly just so little versed into the whole vtubing scene like i only discovered it last year. the thing with some vtubers having managers, being great singers and all that made me wonder if streaming is part of the job or is their own thing they do alongside their job at a agency, likewise how some of the terms being used confuse me such as debut and graduation, like are they graduation from school? and frankly whats up with a good chunk of vtubers being super sus in terms of talking about sexual things and being abit horny, you would think that it is part of the brand that vtubers are kinda horny, though it seems that some are that and others are more chill witht the whole horny stuff.

@@MNM-lq9te Well kinda...it depends a lot on agency and location. Like japanese agencies are much more conservative then western ones, and streaming is only part of their job. But for groups like mythic it isnt such a big deal. Graduation = quitting or being forced to quit the job for whatever reason, most of the times some grace period to wrap things up is given (since graduation stream), and vtubers can even keep their model/IP in some cases (like Rin Penrose). Debut, is well...debut - the first public appearance after being hired.
