1:55 old timer tip: if you ever have to mask inside a groove like that, leave about 1/4" of tape "unstuck" over the gap. then go along with a dull pencil and that will fold the tape over into the groove nice and tight. I've done that many times and it works like a charm.

A rebuilder should not be afraid of any damage or salvage vehicles. He is the master of his own work. The harder the build the more he shows off his skills. More power vTuned.

You and that Jake make a super team. I hope yall stay together actually and you make everything look so easy.Thanks Tennessee!

Just an observation. Normally follow manufacturers spec as to filling oil, overfilling can result in seals popping out, remember there is a bit of expansion with heat. You need to get a shop truck , its going to save your nice cars !

i have seen some guys take and drill an 1/8 inch hole in two different inconspicuous places on the rocker panel in towards the weatherstrip while you have everything bolted on the car so after you paint you just need to get the rocker on and slide your two 1/8 inch rivets into predrilled hole's and bingo you got your panels lined up and if you messed up drilling the guide holes you can fill the holes with a paintable filler but like i said in the beginning inconspicuous is key

5:50 I had a 2015 Jaguar F-type S coupe. It was beautiful and a head turner, but wasn’t great to drive. Even when active exhaust was off, there was always a buzz noise in the cabin that was annoying. Stereo was nice but couldn’t hear it well over the buzzing. Suspension was super stiff and rattled the interior every time you hit a bump. I got rid of it after 2 years.

If you have a 4 door F150 with a glass roof, you need a tinted windshield. The AC can’t cool it down in summer.

That gonna be one sharp ride when it’s painted! Going back to the McLaren, what adhesive did you use to rebuild a couple of mounting flanges on I think the front fenders? Need to pick up some to rebuild a plastic part on a project. Something NAPA might have?
@glennarnold3970 Жыл бұрын
the adhesive ben used was called panel bond you can get it in different curing times from 1 minute to eight hours with a full cure in 24 hours depending on temperature but be aware there are different types of panel bond some will do steel aluminum fibre glass carbon fibre others will only do steel aluminum but it will say on the packet make sure you get structural panel bond i know this as a cert 3 panel beater in australia cheers from down under
