Oh my gosh, this video is so needed and you should share it everywhere you possibly can because all of your tips and points are so true. And apply to environments even outside the digital world. I’ve spent this past school year going back and forth with the people on what passes for my brother’s IEP team in the repeated refrain I got was, well we’re not doing this and we don’t have to do this because it’s not in the law. Meanwhile broadly what I’m saying was in the law it just wasn’t as spelled out directly and left up to the school how each districtWanted interpret. Never mind the fact that they were A bunch of best practices and guidelines that were recommended to follow all of which I were using when making my points, because they didn’t have to mandated to follow them and had leeway over what they would do they basically did nothing and thereby didn’t insure that the same exact situation wouldn’t happen to the next child with a mental health condition. how they Whether it’s a business marketing project or schools educating children it should be the same concept. Everyone’s should want to do whatever they can to break down barriers and instill equal access, but as you mentioned there’s so many ridiculous excuses they don’t even apply that people give as a post to actually consulting with those yourself are the expertise and the passion to provide the solutions that are both cost-effective, accessable, Legal, and actually solve the problem instead of making a bunch more.
