Finally a Vuarnet review :) I was torn between this this and 03, but got the 03 in the end. The nylon frames are so light, and I love them.

This brand not only makes beautiful mineral glass lenses (I’m in the process of dumping my Costas as per my extreme aversion to Luxotica) but also high quality frames as well. The Blue Polar and Grey Polar lenses are fantastic. While the grey is not an uncommon color, the Vuarnet lens has a rich color and outstanding optical clarity. But it’s the Blue Polar that is unreal. The Eclipse is super dark brown (category 4) for bluebird days on snow or to nurse a hangover. I’m not huge on yellow lenses so I haven’t tried the Skilynx or Nightlynx yet but I reckon I’ll give them a shot at some point. I purchased a pair recently with the Blue Polar lens and haven’t worn anything since. It has just enough grey so it doesn’t “blue wash” everything and is extremely comforting to my eyes. And it does not distort colors. I thought it would, but it doesn’t. Their aviators are every bit as robust as Randolph Engineering. Cheers

As someone who owns the Nightlynx 1908 Vuarnets, I'll say they're definitely a lot of fun! They're fantastic for cloudy and snowy days, and they'll still give you plenty of relief on bright sunny days too. You gotta be ok with the yellow though... it's like putting on a pair of highlighter ski goggles.

I agree on everything of wath you said. I dislike Luxotica for many, many, many reasons as well. I love and I collect sunglasses in fact I have the SKILYNNX RACING and SKILYNX NOI CATEYE FOLDABLE, They are just awesome. You will not regret if you try them.

I have the Legend 06, great lenses and coverage. I have several pair of sunglasses from the Bond movies, these are the best by far.
