Actually. With the right amount of skill you can escape in any car. Using the few places, cops can't spawn and won't drive into. But it is incredible difficult to escape them otherwise. No matter how fast your car is.

You can escape with ANY car or vehicle as long as you get to a tunnel. Its not fun that way, but it always work...

I've basically escaped them multiple times just by driving up rt.13 (past Bolingbrook) to paleto, even in a Semi Truck w.Trailer 😂🤣 (ps. If u have a trailer the Phantom doesn't care whether ya got tyres or not, lol)

It can be pretty tricky/difficult to escape a 5 star wanted level, or even sometimes annoying just to lose lower wanted levels too because of their spawning and magically seeing where you are somehow😫 but yeah looks like you did a pretty good job overall with the Prius there😂👍

1:05 as a GTA 5 PS3 player there is another way to escape. That subway station at strawberry (I don’t really remember the street name because i stopped playing GTA 5 and selled my PS3 3 years ago) go inside the tunnel and yep you escaped

fun fact: if you blend in with traffic speed (recommended highway) you can escape 1-2 star but if you slow down too much the cop in front of you will instantly spot you or in a distance, will turn around immediately

There is an alley with stairs in Little Seoul next to Vespucci Boulevard and the gas station where sometimes i hide myself with the car and wait until the police is gone. It often works, and sometimes i have to run away again to avoid police when i'm spotted, and then i come back to that alley again until the police gives up.

Another way to escape cop cars is to drive out into the fields, not on dirt roads, but the wide open fields of grass. cops only search roads. doesnt stop the helicopter though.

The second try, you kinda got lost there, didn't you :D Pro tip: The cops are programmed in a way that they always know where you are. It will take them some time to get there and look (if it's a place that's accessible to them, which for example the tunnels are not), so if you've been out of sight for a while, you may lose your wanted level before they check the spot where you're hiding. One thing is for sure. They will always find you, sooner or later, so hiding in one spot should only be used as a last resort, because it's extremely risky (you can tell they know where you are, they'll often completely surround you before even confirming you're hiding behind that corner). It's advised to keep moving as long as you can. If you stop for too long, they will find you. You just need to avoid them, use side streets, get away from the roads, etc. If you have nowhere to go, it's better to just get spotted again, and then try to run a few blocks further to find a better spot for dodging their vision cones.

pretty good video, thnx Vucko. ditching stars is always fun. Trainers & mods are fun in story mode..there is a trainer called, Kiddion's Modest Menu that is for OL (I know, 'Verboten!') aha..but is great for story mode, too bc it has adjustments for suspension, like lowering and raising (it's lame we can only lower veh. in LSC) plus min and max traction limits, so you can really tune a car..eg the Banshee, well known for spinning out too ez, just step up the min traction a couple clicks and she handles more like a Viper irl.
