First time I saw Sepp Kuss crack. Normally, he climbs with the best just breathing through his nose. Fine win for Roglic. His competition didn't hand him any gifts, except perhaps Movi.

Perhaps? Movistar pretty much handed him the win lol Carapaz was closing the gap until Movi helped Roglic... then the gap stayed at 20-25 seconds. Movistar were just butthurt at Carapaz joined Ineos lol

Roglic totally deserved win of Vuelta. He is most complete rider of all. Also very fair sportsman and good tactician. He won 4 stages by hinmself either. Without bad luck with that jacket and bad transmision {both failure of technical support of TJM), which cause him to loose over minute in 2 mountain stages, he would win more comfortably.
@TeoSluga

That was not bad luck... It was his mistake not to wear gloves... With warm fingers he could dress that jacket easily....

@@TeoSluga it wasnt problem with gloves, but that they start operation to late, when they have been almost on top. So when they come on top TJV was in the middle of changingbthe cloths and ineos and movistar escaped. And then Roglic has to hunt them for another 20+km, so he list a lit if energy and came at the bottom of 1cat climb without breath and without team. And then lost first place and 43 seconds

@@markopodganjek845 no. He was not wearing gloves like other riders. With cold fingers it was impossible to zipp up his jacket. That's where Ineos escaped him and he needed to chase them... All connected.

He was in Thibaut Pinot's shadow but Pinot DNS (did not start) stage 3, so Gaudu is the main rider of the team! It was his 2nd stage victory Vuelta 2020. I feel bad for carthy, i am probably the only one that saw it live on tv, but when carapaz attacked carthy tried to follow on the inside, but vlasov was riding ahead of him and was dead and vlasov moved to the inside closing the door for carthy so carthy couldnt follow. I am not saying carthy could have followed carapaz, but he would defintely be closer to carapaz then he was now at the finish.

What would it be different if Carapaz had a stronger team? He anyway sticked to TJV all the time. And in the last kilometres is all about men on men. Carapaz is an extremely good rider. But let be honest. He beat Roglič only on two or three stages. Let us remember how Roglič got back the red jersey. In the climbing finishes. He literally played with Carapaz. Roglič lost to much energy to get the four stage wins. That was a bad decision, but I guess he wanted to proof that he can ride aggressive.

Howevers, this are all nonsense talkings. All this GC guys are champions and really best in the race. I also wouldn give TJV highest grade. For trailing and train movistar is much better.
