Finished this with a piece of printer A4 paper trimmed to square. too thick to have precise creases and also broke the locking mechanism. Good to practise with it though. The front air intake seems hard to shape to look good on thick paper (or i am just bad) Thanks for the video!

I got some problem with the step 22:28 to 23:41 I often gets uneven wings left vs right. Then I try to unfold the whole tail fins and back part of the wing, the areas are same sized, but the creases from these steps are not identical for each side. For these steps it seems if one side is just a little off, the resulting error is very huge. It turns out the pockets at the back, if it gets out of alignment, then these steps will not have good reference edge. Seems I still need more practice.

Tried different paper, a large origami foil paper or origami paper is better than printer paper and tissue foil. There are numerous steps (e.g. 12:42) that the memory/elasticity/springyness of paper helps. Tissue foil is thin which is great, but too mullable, step at 12:42 ends up with a somewhat squashed result.

For the uneven wing problem. Folding along the mid points of the pockets to the "tips"of the wing while trying to align the edge as jayson mentioned in the video. Along with frequent check for symmetry by folding the plane along the midline solved it. I still think folding the pockets properly is important for getting same sized, symmetric wings and tail fins.

This model is amazing. I folded it from 11 inch foil paper but i realized that it flew 90 feet so i added up elevators and it flew 125 feet. IT FLIES. SOMETHING I FOLD ACTUALLY FLIES YASSSSSS

Last question my man, I’m not really a beginner but I haven’t done this for years. When I make my folds they don’t seem to be perfectly straight, especially on the double folds, the paper creates a little square and it’s hard to like it up because it either wants to go more forward or backward. Any little tips would be helpful :)

You can use tools to help you. For long straight ones, I will use a ruler and press it onto the paper to make the crease exactly where you want. Sometimes you can "roll" the paper a bit to "break" the squarely things and will be more willing to obey to your fold. Another way I know since my teenage is that you can use a ball pen (no ink) to draw a line for your crease. This will weaken the paper and you can fold exactly where you drew. Also you can try thinner more flexible paper. This is mostly the property of the paper you use.

I make high performance paper airplane. Mine are coated in packaging tape. But I use scissors to cut the paper. Folding to get paper airplanes on this level is very hard. I take my hat off to this maker of such beautiful and performance. Remember to check my channel out guy. I cant do origami. But I can but some nice masterpiece myself.

I'm a bit of a layman on these paper aircraft, I tried it first, I got halfway through, I got lost in the air intake, I gave up, I used a different sheet, it was 8 inches, a regular paper,which made the attempt more difficult, I'll try again later, this time with the correct paper and two dimensions too! I may have gotten the hang of it in certain parts lol
