In fine art, you can find "quality" in any mode of operation -- which is why we need to find / understand / establish our unique relationships to the tools we are using. This also applies for craft and the artistic media we use. The value here here lies not just in finding answers to these questions, but in understanding the relevance of continuously asking this question.
And it leads somewhere: to our own unique vulnerability and humanity. By making art in vulnerable ways, we create our self -- and symbolically, begin to exist.
