I've got some experience as Nurse (only about a third of Vulpixia's though) and if I sometime called "God Nurse" by some nice survivors (not true, I'm not that good) I get my ass handed to me from time to time too.

Heeyy Pix! This vid is an interesting look into these types of players, and how prideful they get over this game while not having all the knowledge and game sense to back up that prideful behavior. I'll happily admit that I'm not the most cracked at looping Nurse as Survivor, and sometimes even i get rolled as a Nurse myself. The Idea that "Good players never miss" Is completely irrelevant to me for obvious reasons. Usually when a team is playing very efficient and/or has a large enough map to break 3 gens. Through all of this, DBD is a party game at heart. And was clearly not made with a competitive scene in mind from the start. Looking back at DBD's history, it was even just a little start up indie game before it became the behemoth it is today. Even the devs have said they didn't know how their own game worked. Hence why i don't play in comp. It gets very stressful in that kind of environment and it kills the whole point of a game. We play games to have fun and comp just doesn't do it for me.

Lol. Everyone thinks nurse is a free win. Except everyone that’s ever played nurse especially on console. She’s awesome but half of her power comes from weak survivors that just completely crumble when they face her. I played her for one month on console. Ash to Iri 1 just using her. She is absolutely not a free win unless you have garbage stats and are playing the weakest of the player base. And in that instance every killer is a free win against bad survivors. Good survivors can absolutely ruin you. In fact I’d argue only maybe 5 killers in the entire game can win at the higher level. All these conversations and view points depend on what your SBMM is. Salty survivors are generally on the low end so you get all this BS.

I am far from even being good at this game but there are some very easy things you can do against a nurse to not get hit. I, a player with less than 80 hours, little to no overpowered or meta perks, know that pretending to run one way and then changing directions will work 70% of the time. It's the easiest way to avoid it

Girl, bringing comp players ? You know a good nurse against comp players is gonna 2k if not 4 k most of the time. The nurse can easily tunnel players and force a 3v1. This nurse is literal garbage. You cant call it "counterplay" when you're pairing comp players together to facea troll who clearly doesnt know what hes doing in a comp setting. Theres pety behaviour on both sides. There is slighttttttttttttttttt counterplay to nurse, VERY slight . And the counterplay is to waste time enough for gens to fly. Thats why "compcorners" are used against her. Theres many comp players who play nurse and get downs within 10 seconds. Thats not counter play. Counterplay isnt there in a 1v1. A nurse who understands survivor movements can literally blink on top of them anywhere everywhere. But the thing is: Nurse has no inbetween skill. Theres a bad nurse and a good nurse. Average nurse players will just simply waste that 10 second extra to down people which means a lot of losses. The power of nurse is very unforgiving to miss. If you miss just one or 2 blinks you're in a bad spot. The best of nurses have an insane accuracy. And that isnt counterplay since it always leads into a hit or down. It would be alright if all you're doing it trying to humble a troll, but the things you're saying about nurse is simply not true. You brought comp players, try bringing comp player sruvivors against a comp level nurse. The match would be more interesting if nothing else.

"It always leads to a hit or down" is completely untrue. There are situations where you can force a 50/50 or forcing a nurse to hold their 2nd blink, which wastes time. I am considered a very strong nurse runner in the comp community and I've faced the best nurses in the world (Knightlight, Laser ect.) so I have credentials. I would agree that nurse has very little counterplay, but definitely enough to occasionally prevent a fast chase against the best nurses in the world

the point was to prove that Nurse isn't as easy as he was saying- he's just a pub player & doesn't know that yet. he came in after a pub game - and it's very clear pub nurses can be countered. 2 ppl play comp- the other 2 are just friends. basically counter play is possible for 99% of PUB nurses but the community doesn't want to put any effort. that's the point. not everyone is a comp Nurse.

1. There are only 2 players on this roster that actively participate in tournaments on a regular basis so those are the only "comp players" on the roster 2. So wasting time for gens to get done isn't counterplay? lol also if you are getting downed in 10 seconds to nurse you are very bad at survivor or misplayed, exhaustion perks are typically allowed in tournaments vs nurse so you should always be using exhaustion before you get hit this allows the survivor to go across the map even if they were to get hit, also "compcorners" are not the only counterplay towards nurse, as you still have to deal with perks such as, For the people, We'll Make it, Dead hard, DS, Lithe etc. And there are even stronger perks you can run in your typical pub games vs her. You can also abuse pallet/flashlight saves vs nurse and it can waste a lot of time especially if the survivor going for the pallet/flashlight save has sprint burst, there is a lot you can do vs her to put yourself in a good situation its just the majority of the players do not understand this and dont have the game sense to do good vs her. 3. Good nurses can and DO get ran by good survivors, a lot of people that play comp love playing against nurse and do very well against her because they have good movement and good pathing and are very hard to read.
