@@wolvwwc Easy tear down for winter months? I'm thinking of getting one, our last spring tramp became a kite, when I didn't tear it down for monsoon season. Thankfully I tied it tight to the tree hahaha.

i have read reviews of the thunder outside of vulys website . And all the long term comments have stated that the leaf springs start breaking and at $100 for 7 springs it would be cheeper to buy a cheep trampaline every 5yrs

Personally I haven’t come across this often though it does happen occasionally (same with all trampolines and probably quicker and the cheaper ones). Leaving by an ocean can determinate them quicker due to the salt

@@thebaytrampolines6543 Personal experience, the leaf springs are a inherently flawed design on the trampoline and will start to fail due to accumulated metal fatigue at the flex point where they meet the frame after about 12-18 months. Vuly obviously have known about this for a while, which is why they have a warranty of only 12 months on their leaf springs but offer 5 years on the coiled springs. My old cheap coiled spring trampoline lasted 5 years of heavy usage on a poorly levelled site without missing a beat but the new expensive Vuly one has barely managed a year and half before being a money sink and disappointment.

Hi there. Thanks for the reviews, I have seen two. You have made me interested in Vuly. This is my question. I want to install this trampoline for my 6 to 10 year old kids but the trampoline will go over an old gazebo base with a diameter of about 12.5 feet AND about 1 foot thick. If I installed OVER this concrete 1 foot thick/deep pad would this trampoline potentially bottom out on the pad? I am not sure of the travel of the trampoline...

There is a bit more force in the bounce in the pro, chance of rusting is less, the black frame is a nice look but the price is a lot more

I put together a Vuly on the weekend 3 of the 10 poles that support the safety net aren't in completely. any advice on how to get these to fit?

Is on an ultra? They can be very hard to put on. Get them all in position and then go round pushing each one in - it’s not easy. If you’re in NSW feel free to get in touch for me to help if you want

Very helpful review, thanks. I am looking at Thunder Pro but I am very confused by Vuly’s recommended clearance around the trampoline of 2m. If I applied this logic then even the smallest trampoline would not fit in my 5.2m wide space. I notice in this video that one side is quite close to the fence and I don’t see the problem with this as the net would never expand that far. What is your experience with placement near walls or fences and what are the reasons for why Vuly would recommend 2m clearance?

Hi Sam I think there are two reasons for the clearance - incase the net poles were to move (though they’re usually very stable) and so the installer can move around the trampoline freely in order to put it together - in reality, a minimum of 1m clearance around the trampoline should be enough…anything less than 1m will make it hard for an installer to put it together

@@thebaytrampolines6543 Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. Slightly off topic but would you say a Thunder Pro or Vuly 2 is a better choice? I have young kids (aged 5 & 3) and obviously want the trampoline to last a long time. I have read that the Thunder Pro wouldn’t be springy enough for lighter users.

I have one i am 13, hoping for a huge pro tramp. So so so disappointed in what i got i do extreme tricks and no bounce hard to get in and out horrible assembly.

What's the main difference between the Thunder and the the Thunder Pro? And is the the price jump worth it?

Hi Richard. The Thunder Pro comes with a bigger price tag because of a superior bounce (not sure if kids would notice the difference though) and a better look due to the black frame. Personally I’d go for the Thunder Pro if money wasn’t a consideration but if it’s stretching the budget I wouldn’t hesitate in going for the Thunder as it’s still a great trampoline. Vuly usually offer a big discount on the Thunders during their sales which happen quite often.
