I should have mentioned that it's not near eateries at all. There is some grocery stores and seafood about 200 meters away. It's no where near the main part of the city.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get out of the city (Saigon) and explore. Work has been taking a toll on me. But I'm getting a new rental bike in D2 tomorrow and hope to go to some new places soon. I've never been out of the city and am a bit worried something will go wrong with my motorbike and end up getting stranded and not being able to speak good Tieng Viet.
