They are not going to talk about the white elites that are causing these problems. They threaten and capture our politicians, if the refuse to be captured, they kill them. Why isn't these self-proclaimed "smart business leaders" and "yada yada capitalists" ever say anything about what is really happening??

Great interview. Many countries in Africa are not obsessed about the past & who pained them. In many of these countries, the past is still the present because, the inflictors of the “pain”, just don’t want to leave. You have the World Bank, IMF, France, EU etc, desperately trying to make sure Africa remains where it is. We’ve seen the changes in Burkina Faso, Niger & Mali where these young guys have taken power & ruling with the “intentions” that Vusi outlined and have achieved great results, but the West is not having it and the result is over 17 coup attempts to take them out, especially Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso. If the West could just see Africa as equal partners, this continent will change overnight, even with bad governance, the people will strive and succeed.

Not often do I witness VT so nervous on a public platform. A testament to your acute awareness of the audience this channel attracts and speaks to, my spirit tells me a lot is riding on this talk… Just in case you come across this comment, my brother you represented yourself and your nation well, you’ll go down in the RSA history books as one of the most paradoxical (ironically disliked by those that look like you) but extremely effective and inspirational personalities in our humble and mostly wasted generation. Love your work bhuti 👊🏾

As a South African🌈, I found this discussion insightful and reflective of many of the current challenges and strengths within our country. The conversation brought forward a nuanced perspective on what South Africa is today-its complex social, economic, and cultural landscape. These gentlemen highlighted key issues and opportunities that resonate deeply, shedding light on both the struggles and potential for positive change. This was an engaging and valuable exchange that encourages thoughtful reflection on the future of our nation.👏👏

People blame others for their failures, but they take credit on themselves for success. Both collectiveness and the individualism exist and plays out at the same time. But to know know when, what and who to blame/credit is the key, and only true and rationality must be used.

He really is good at public speaking. He had good points, but beyond that, the presentation of them was much more effective than I think I could have been. In general, it was refreshing to hear nuance and intellectual honesty being presented by a well-spoken speaker. It has actually motivated me to look more into public speaking in the way he framed it. This discussion made the value of it apparent to me where it wasn't so apparent prior.
