Vutomy, there is a difference between an installation and an activation. In ETS2/ATS you extract in most cases, if the files don't come as .scs and then you activate them in the mod menu of the desired game.

There should be a def file that you didn't need to extract that you might have deleted. You just need to find that file and copy it into the mod file in documents. Then it should appear.
