I remember on the old warp promo site for come to daddy there were lists of THINGS RICHARD HAS DONE LATELY and THINGS RICHARD HASN'T DONE LATELY and the most prominent one on the latter list was "get back to bjork about producing that album for her" -- legend has it she tried to get squarepuaher to do it next and boy if i could be a fly on the wall in the central line studio when that call came into tom... god that would have been the ultimate squarepusher meme... seeing his face when he got that request. Of course bjork came crawling back to richard to have him open for her (again) in 2004 as DJ smojphace in london... and suffice to say if you were monitoring bjork fan messageboards that night you had one of the best nights of your idm nerd life --- "APHEX TWIN A MUSICAL LEGEND?? HELL NO!!!" --- LOL
