VV PURAM FOOD STREET in Bangalore | Indian Street Food

Exploring bangalore food - Finally! I am super excited to share my Bangalore food vlogs. This is the first one - VV Puram food street. Bengaluru food or Bangalore street food is famous for its idlis and dosas, but V V Puram food street is just something else. One of my most interesting Indian street food experiences is at VV Puram. Started with VB Bakery and then moced to buttery soft idlis, mango corn, paniyarams and twisted potatoes. So much to explore in this food street! Definitely visit VV Puram while exploring food in Bangalore. I do have more videos from my visit to Bengaluru coming soon. So watch out for those vlogs as well.

VV Puram named after VishVeshwariah VV comes from the name Sir M Vishveshwariah Engineer par excellence later Dewan of Royal Mysore State. He was the one to conceive plan and execute the building of the KRS dam across the Kaveri river thus bringing thousands of acres of hitherto dry lands into irrigation.Of course financed by the Mysore Royal Wodeyar family personal money ! ( Never has any royal in history anywhere in the world built any public utility structure of that size from their own personal money )Literally Annadaatas for millions. Sir Vishveshwariah( Yes he was Knighted by the British Queen) was also was hired by Hyderabad Nawabs and was involved in vital projects there also and in Gujarat too.Founder of State Bank of Mysore one of the first modern international level banks of India Todays residents of the area and the floating population esp North Indians need to know about this great son of India

That peanut bun is called 'Congress Buns' and started by V B Bakery. The peanut mixture is named after Congress meetings where it would be served. VV Puram thindi beedi (food street) is full of gems. Do try the kodubale next time (that round ring type item you shot named after an ox's ring)

Hi now i dont have to travel all that far to have twistatos, it is available at Jayamahal Extension, next to shiv shankar chats. The shops name is scoops n fries, twistatos, street pizza, capsicum bajji, pineapple bajji, dragon smoke and french fries pizza.

The next time you are in Bangalore, visit these places: 1) Brain Museum - Nimhans 2) Sir. M. V Science and Technology Museum 3) Aerospace Museum at HAL 4) Bugle Rock Park and its famous shrines 5) Freedom Park - A jail converted into a lung space 6) Dakshina Murthy Temple : Birth Place of Vrishabhavathi River. That Peanut bun is actually a Bangalore version of our Dabeli😂

No way. Dhabeli has a potato filling, chutneys, onions etc. The only common thing between the two is peanuts.
