Ville Valo, singer from the band HIM, on his "Neon Noir" solo tour through Europe. He played a lot of HIM songs, as well as songs from his first album "Neon Noir". It was a really special evening, and a wonderful trip of nostalgia.

es ist absolut unglaublich, dass VV seine Stimme auf diesem Niveau halten konnte - R e s p e k t! Ich denk mal, da sollte man mal Tickets klar machen ... 😊!

Ja, das habe ich mir auch gedacht! Für sein Alter und die Jahre ohne Auftritte, ist seine Stimme noch immer sehr ausdrucksstark. Man sieht aber finde ich auch wieviel Konzentration und Professionalität in seine Konzerte gehen. Die Tour ist fast rum, also nichts wie ran! 😉 Ich sehe ihn am Mittwoch nochmal. In Köln. Diesmal dann aber erste Reihe ✌️

​@@AlisonMolko ja, absolut - VV war ja seinerzeit auch immer so'n "Charmy-Boy" 😉 - aber jetzt ist er ein richtiger "Arbeiter" on stage geworden - ärgere mich, dass ich die Tour so spät mitbekommen habe (bin bei diesen "Revival-Dingern" aber eh immer ein bisschen skeptisch... - also nächstes Jahr!). Aber zumindest Ende des Monats 69 Eyes - mal schauen, was Jyrki & Co. da noch abreißen... Dir morgen viel Spaß... in der ersten Reihe! 😊

It turns out Ville Valo only really works within the realm of HIM. This looks and feels like an amature performance. It’s boring.

I wonder if it more has to do with sobriety, age and being "out of practice"? I loved the concert. It was an amazing atmosphere. But was a little "disappointed" about his lack of moving around. It's definitely a different energy than back then with HIM. So I wondered if it could be sobriety related. I see it in a lot of musicians. They get less extroverted, less eccentric, less talkative,.... maybe a little insecure even. Which I totally understand. He made lots of interaction with the audience tho with smiles and looks. And the songs were well performed.

Man, I was there and I can tell it was great. The performance, the ambiance, everything. And I can tell more. I know HIM had some very good and energetic shows but I have seen them back in time twice and Valo was not really in a good shape, let's say. I was disappointed then. But now, he is present and enjoying. Not everything is about jumping around. But, of course, I respect your opinion.
