For all those who think Hycross will take over the crysta , This is not gonna happen because the way Crysta has built its reputation besides reliability and looks in the market is just out of hycross's league. That 2.4L diesel engine is far better then the one with hycross, I don't wanna disrespect hycross but when it comes in comparison with crysta definitely crysta is a clear winner.

technology is changing bruh. I have Innova 2.5 G 2008,Innova Crysta 2.7 G Petrol Automatic and Innova Crysta 2.4 V Diesel Manual. Innova Crysta is rigid but Hycross is next gen Toyota so it is definitely a better Upgrade than Crysta in terms of Comfort,Ride and Handling and ofcourse Mileage and NVH. 2.4 Diesel is surely a beast and my fav also but this Hycross is surely better than Crysta. Accept the change. Toyota rarely upgrades technology since it does proper research on features for eg in this video Aman mentioned how Toyota's ADAS Outshines other brand's ADAS. Toyota Gives Reliable Features so in coming years Hycross will surely Takeover Innova Crysta or give equal competition to it.

When the OG Innova was replaced with Crysta people had similar opinions. That it had quality issues, that it won't be as reliable, that it is too expensive, that the 18 inch wheels were uncomfortable etc etc. Even when Qualis was replaced people voiced their concerns. Hycross is a great product. It will slowly build its own reputation and legacy too.
