I want to do that with my 914. My dad converted it to dual Webers in the ‘80s and it’s always been a pain.

Where did you get that intake hose I need one for my 412 SW I can’t find them anywhere

It's a radiator hose, got it at an auto parts store years ago, had to trim it to length.

Awesome! Vacuum operated TPS? Please explain more on TPS. I have 2ltr type 4, came with no throttle body(I'll need to find one) Wanting to Install Microsquirt 1 with Comupufire ignition, also was buying from Dubshop, What injectors did you use? High impedance yes. Thanks Theo

I’m using a CB performance TPS throttle position sensor/switch installed under the throttle body just like the stock Bosch one. CB did this for me over 20 years ago, but it’s not too difficult to retrofit a newer TPS, also I’ve seen some use a rod linkage to move a TPS mounted near the throttle body. I’m using a Microsquirt, TPS, MAP sensor, CHT, 02 sensor, new high impedance injectors 32 LBS I think, and a 36 tooth timing wheel mounted behind the fan. I had the intake manifolds machined for the new type O-Ring style injectors. Thanks, RT

Sorry to hear about that. Yes building a type 4 motor can be expensive, but a good 1776 cc type 3 motor could be a good subsitude engine.RT
