Great video. I enjoy the upholstery stuff. Just an FYi an electric carving knife will cut foam like butter. I picked one up at salvation army several years ago for like $3. Trust me on this next time you're at goodwill or salvation army look for one for the next foam cutting. Really enjoyed the bath towel ...I get a kick out of that every time it comes up

Thanks brother, oddly enough, she did bring up an electric, carving knife, somehow I edited it out by accident. I don’t know how that happened. That was really weird. We’ll have to check the Salvation Army or Goodwill. We check them often on for things. I’ll bet we can find a carving knife at one. Yeah the towel thing, I don’t think I especially will ever forget it. Got busted while filming. Lol.

Absolutely! Our door panels, or door cards are not very expensive so I didn’t mind really doing that. And I do agree, I don’t mind modifications, as long as it’s easily put back to stock without interrupting anything.

My boards are rotten, but still a useable template. What material do you recommend utilizing for new back boards?

I never tried to use something different than a VW. But I do have an idea, maybe try a piece of Luan? That underlayment they use in houses. It’s kind of a very thin wood, but I think would be very easy to work with.
