Outstanding!! Very well done! I like that green thing you use to strip paint. I haven’t seen those here. I like using a heat gun when painting! Paint came out great! Bead rails look great too!

Thank you My friend. Yeah that scotch brite is a very good paint cleaner without taking off the metal. 3M sales that. I’m very happy with the outcome off the paint. This time I used 2k and is Easier to use and dry’s a lot faster then 1K.

@@VWBEETLEOVAL1955 I’ll have to look them up on Amazon. They seem to work very well for you. Yes 2K is a really nice clear, it’s nice they have it in the can with a hardner released.
@VWBEETLEOVAL19552 жыл бұрын
@@SladesVWBeetle well these can’s doesn’t have the button to relieve the hardener. I can use them for a longer period. I will send you the correct name for those Bristol’s.

@@VWBEETLEOVAL1955 Thank you I appreciate that! Oh yea, the button….hardner release is only good for 48 hours

Thank you sir, I just try to make it easy to look and to understand what I’m doing. It was needy after all these years, otherwise it would rust fully in the future.

Thank you Nick, yes it’s possible to do a glassy look with can’s. Prepping is everything and everyone can do it. Thanx for the support👍👍

Hi sorry for the late response, but the car is still under restoration and is located in Belgium. So I’m sorry to say that I can’t make it.

what was that green sanding brush you used to remove paint called? i need to buy 1.
@VWBEETLEOVAL19552 жыл бұрын
That’s called a bristle disc roloc k 50 from 3M. It’s a really easy tool to use and don’t wear fast.
