I can appreciate the years of experience you have to be able to tackle such a complex reconstruction process. If you keep the original paint/patina, how do you seal it to prevent rust?

Hi Mom : ) The bare metal will get painted and the new paint will be blended in with the old, offering protection and hopefully a seamless look
