Thanks Don for getting me in at the last minute. I really hope the remainder of the profits from the show really helped the open water project. They could really use some funding and thanks to Don from the Kowabunga clan for setting up this great event and fundraiser.

Looks like the event was well organized. Great looking buses. I guess I am the "lone ranger " in this area. Cloest club is Dallas and they have an annual bash that draws a good crowd. Enjoyed it Mike.

I got a postal RHD Highroof It had signs of that same yellow paint . I didn't know they came in truck form too . interesting .

Google events had the time wrong(starting at 3p) so I went out to the WW Spring Fest and then down to HB. The pier show was the one to go to. I can’t believe I’ve never been. Will definitely put it on next years cal. I was there around 1:30 and it was packed. This is by far the perfect element for the VW bus to be shown in. That seablau/Wht SO44 pop top is a holy grail. Don’t see 44’s very often. Sadly it was all locked up when I was looking at it. Don’t think I’d trade both of my 42’s for one, but I might be tempted. 😜 Chatted with cricket about that wht/wht deluxe. Very rare color combo. I’m not a lowered guy, but would drive that one. The Radars look good on it.

oh yea that one is cool the 44 I didnt even catch that. dont really know the difference. yea have seen the white on white deluxe it is super rare and the postal yellow truck is also.

@@Mikefngarage I found something two blocks N. Little bit of a walk. The SO 44 is a bench bus only option. It has the full width cabinet behind the driver/passenger. Most were Euro only I think. That one has the standard pop top like the typical SO-42. I’ve seen them with Dormobile tops which make them so much more useful. Someday I might put a Dormobile top on the tin top SO 42 I’ve got. Apparently Dormobile is still in business and selling tops.
