Yes, the pq mib2 supports oem and aftermarket rvc. It requires rca through the quadlock connector.

There is something wrong either with your wires or with your camera, this method works with CCD cameras that you can buy cheap on internet. Note: when you connect the +12V to your backlight, the camera will not work when the car is on, but it will work when only in ignition, this is due to the fluctuation (refresh rate) that the light bulb emits you need 12V filter box to be able to bypass this problem.

I had the same problem, all wired correctly amd black screen in my Leon ST 2016... I found out I had to cut the white wire on the camera to switch from AHD to CVBS and voila worked!

You should power up that camera mate... Plug in a 12V plug in that red socket, coming from the rear reverse lights, so that when you put in reverse gear, it gives power to the cam.

If MMI goes black when reversed - it works. Probably camera output was not turned on or mixed cables. Try with that number plate light camera you had on your seat: Power it by 12V battery and connect straight to the very same yellow cable. Since your MMI is 6,5" - it is not a basic one - it should work.

Oh, and maybe your camera output settings were PAL. Should be NTSC.

Tienes que cortar el cable RCA de video de la cámara, tendras tres cables: Rojo-Amarillo-Negro. El cable negro lo conectas al pin 5 de la clema azul y el cable amarillo al pin 11 de la clema azul.el cable rojo no lo conectes a ningún sito.

Hello! Please help me, because nobody can. I have a vw touran from 2017. i have installed a rear camera, it works fine on tv while i put the dsg into reverse so the cameraand the installation is good. But i cant activate it in vcds. In park/steering assist module i have already picked the rear camera installed option, but when i go into information electric module, in byte 19 i only see rvc rear low camera. if i tick it nothing changes. i dont have navigation, so that module is not option. Can you tell me how can i activate, code, or adapt it? Thanks a lot, and sorry for my poor english.

I found the solution. You forgot the 12v and ground. The red end of the camera is composed by +12v and ground, you have to connect the 12v cable to the cable that turn on the rear light.
