Hi, mine does run the same error, open circuit, and I've tested the speaker starting the car up and using an other speaker. Didnt do anything.. maybe I didnt connect the wires the best but idk if I need another speaker. Maybe someone can help me.

Hi Thanks for your kind comment, I am unsure about GTDs I am unfamiliar with the cars this is the only GTD we have done, if yours has a speaker then you should be OK

Hello, great insight on the repair process! How can i be sure its the speaker and not something else ? Can i use a non marine speaker (not water resist) as i didnt find any in my country ? cheers

Hi Jack the car up disconnect the exhaust speaker and connect any hifi speaker and start engine and see if you get sound I wouldn't use non marine speakers they won't last as cone is not covered in waterproof surface there is a lot of condensation in the pod. You don't have to use pioneer any good quality 6.5 inch marine speakers will do over 100w

I have done it with a Gladon RS-3 speaker. It dies after 6month. So next one will be a Pioneer

Really unsure but £60 fix rather than £1000s sounds better to me And the sound is better than none at all Some exhausts I've done the owner has had a kufatec module and then the sound is awesome

@@urki_9588 you won't be able to repair the oem speaker and quot frankly I wouldn't want to repair they are rubbish! The pioneer are far better quality and marine grade

Hello , I want to have your opinion after changing the speaker from the same model as in your video the speaker works but the sound level is very low when I do tests with ODIS are correct and when I plug into a car radio the sound is good with bass but works very badly on the car do you think about the box that manages the sound??

@kleineman9940 visaton just works perfect. No difference in the gladen ones. Also I don't know any other speaker which is designed against heat

Ye 2 ohms are better sounding, but the video is 3 years old this was the only speaker we could find then, we now use 2 ohm visaton speakers, see my recent videos

Hi if the speaker pod is the same as in the video then yes the 6.5 inch pioneer speaker will be ok

Hi, thanks for your quick response, ah okay, I have an original system and can't change the volume, only normal and sport mode. So the TS-MR1600 would have no effect with TS-MR1640 as I cannot change volume? I thought that TS MR1640 gave more noise when accelerating.

@@tomasz125p4 you will get a similar sound as they are only speakers, I've had great results I use small electrode arc but you could go mig as localised heat, however definitely not tig
