Bought a mk7.5 Gti in January, can't fault the car one bit, when you want to have fun on the back roads pop it in to sport and its a blast. Bit low on the power compared to others, but 230bhp isnt awful, When you need it to be practical and fuel efficiant, it can be. You get what it says on the box, practical hot hatch💯 Best of both worlds Also I agree with upbadging, rots me. Why pretend your car is something it isnt. Great vid man btw 🔥

get a stage 1 tune bro. i went from 245 to 300 for around 500$. you also get better fuel economy

35-40 mpg is quite good for a GTI. Isn't it? I just bought a 2018 GTI.

Upbadging... God I agree. The amount of mainly 2.0 TDI 150 brake Golfs i see with the GTI grill is ridiculous. I'm not quite sure who their trying to impress. Hoping to get one at some stage as moneys right. (badly needed in our cabbage land) As someone whos pretty much a loner and doesn't have much of a social life who only not kidding drives 14 kilometres to work and back home I think this would be the time for one. As for exhaust as you said a lot of people say Miltek but some say Akrapovic sounds good too. Personally I saw a one online not 100% sure on the setup called Armytrix. It honestly sounded unreal, but i feel the neighbours wouldn't be so happy😂

Up badging is stupid but down badging is hilarious, I have a 1.2 polo and I'd love to get a GTi one in the same colour and swap over all the bumpers and wheels and make it look like a regular polo

Do car modifications has any limit in ireland for eg bumbers,lowering and exhaust changes btw in which county do you live?

Ireland. And yes that can if you exhaust is too loud it can fail inspection (NCT) and all mods have to be declared by insurance
