This car is practically bone stock with just few boops and bops to the ECU that takes 30-45 minutes. To get this kind of power and torque out of a normally aspirated 4-cylinder would require thousands of dollars in parts alone (except maybe a K20). The EA888 has legendary bang for the buck value!

I have an otherwise bone stock MK7 GTI with just a remap of the ECU and TCU with 321 hp, 350 lbs/ft, front subframe traction brace for putting power down even from a stop, sticky tires and a dogbone mount. Every modification is completely hidden from view and the list of unsuspecting victims in widely considered “quicker cars” grows everyday. Nothing beats a sleeper. 100-200 in 11.1 isn’t fast by AutoTopNL standards but it’s certainly faster than 95% of the cars you encounter on the road.

@@spookyreaper1702 stage 1 and stage 2 tunes are generally better for the engine than stock. It depends on the tuner and the tune but generally better for the engine. The engine oil temp is 10% lower than stock even when pushing it hard, higher torque = more efficient.

@@SaschaSt92 Hatte selber vergessen, dass mit dem Facelift auch das DQ381 kam. Das ich selber aber niemandem mit dem 7 Gang DSG kenne hat nicht dazu beigetragen. Im endeffekt mit dem 7 Gang DQ381 ist es möglich. Meine aber, dass der TCR im Video das 6 Gang DQ250 hat. Dieses geht aber tatsächlich nur bis ca. 280

@@thecloakers jeder TCR hat das DQ381. Es gibt kein anderes Getriebe für den TCR und ein Getriebe umbauen würde niemand, zumal das DQ381 das bessere und ausgereiftere ist.

@@SaschaSt92 Ja, ich muss mich da tatsächlich geschlagen geben. Hab jetzt auch nochmal nachgelesen. Dachte den TCR gibts wie die anderen GTIs mit beiden DSGs. Zum Thema besser und ausgereifter kann man sich streiten. Aber wie immer gibt es auch da schlechte und gute Erfahrungen.

Seems allot for a stage 1 and akrapovich , it’s exactly the same stock as my 20 plate 7spd 290 . Has it had an opf delete as well?, as the dsg upshifts are pretty much the same as a non opf car? And can i please ask who tuned the car? Would love to take mine to this power as the 3yr warranty is nearly up. Great video and thanks for the reply 👍

With the normal GTI you are right. But the TCR is basically an Golf R, just without 4 Motion. So it is realistic to get to around 380 to 400hp

@@Evilkyrocro No it does not, I own a TCR myself, the Akrapovic titanium exhaust was stock on this car with MY 2020, with OPF of course, since this was mandatory since 2018 since the EU introduced OPFs. This one here definitly has an OPF delete

100-200 in around 10 seconds? I think this TCR has around 370 hp. My much heavier estate with only 360 hp and AWD does a 10.9. A TCR with 400 hp should do a low 9 and should easily run 290 and faster.

@@thecloakers You are in the wrong. The 7 Gear DQ381 is able to reach much higher Top-Speed in Gear 7, depending on the Power. In Gear 6 the maximum is nearly 280 on GPS.

@@seniso512 I'll give you that. I only thought about the DQ250 and DQ250s because it is more common, since the DQ381 is an dry clutch. Also the 7th gear is mainly for fuel efficency because it is so long geared. Correct me if i am wrong. Alright, I made an mistake. I mistaken it with the DQ200 Dry Clutch. And also I forget about the DQ381, because I really dont know anyone exept of one with that DSG. Most of the guys and Cars i know and have seen, are all the DQ250. And the one with it had serious problems with it, so I forgot about this
