DO NOT FOLLOW THIS GUY! YES THAT'S HOW YOU TAKE APART THE KEY BUT HE DOESN'T WARN YOU ABOUT THE IMMOBILISER CHIP! Yes the chip is the glass capsule in the top part of the case. If you break it or loose it or throw it away you won't be able to start you car anymore and it will cost you to replace it. This guy is a dick head.

Tha glass capsule can be transfer for a new key(I saw in a video.Its not difficult but of course like everything what it seems easy can be difficult.

So I have a A4 b5 with one of the key's fob unable to reprogram by the dealer as they said it was the fob transponder, the only solution is finding a used key fob and transplanting the key and swap the chip.

You can get new transponder chips from Ebay, Aliexpress etc. at $1 each. But you have to program the key if you have replaced the chip.

You cannot do that because the RFID chip has to be within 1-3'' from the ignition switch, (key hole) I thought about doing the same thing but found out it wont work

Cause if yoy break your key you can get a cheap case or framing you should say off ebay and there will be no need to program if you do this.
