Vw golf mk5 front door card removal

Hey there...Can you offer any advice on why the electric window motor is working but doesnt actually move the window up or down? Ive taken the door card off but I cant see how to access the window

Its probably a little late by now. But you get to the window regulator by removing the door skin on the outside of the car. There are screws around the perimeter that are covered by a plastic strip.
