Where's the spring?? I have a 98 vw jetta 2.0 5speed an rear cailper passanger side is missing this doing to help the return of the e-brake an the driverside has the spring so it's very odd an ice looked at 5 jettas at junkyard an can't find a thing for what I looking for an no parts store can get me anything .

It is same problem on mark 5 Jetta, probably golf is same. I did one side, tomorrow I will do other side . Problem was rear brakes not realising completely so wheels got hot and rear brake pads wearing off faster than normal.
