It's need a 120 volt electric outlet for use electric appliances in the car, and function of turn on the AC or heater when car is off, like Tesla camping mode. It is a hybrid car, therefore, please put the battery In good use.

Excellent review, thank you. One of the main benefits of our previous caravelles and Californias has been the excellent vw bike rack permanently mounted on the rear tailgate. Do you know if it will be possible - the large rear spoiler suggests it might not, and a tow bar rack is much less convenient. Thank you.

@@asiaautoambassador9810 perfect colour. ferfect hape, i always liked he exterior shape of te 5.2m v class, and we get it in a vw, which i like better, merc is too flsy and over prioritzed luxury over shape looks practicality and pirce for the money, this car is literally perfect for me in the inside too, excapt the touch bottoms, but oer than tat, the phev varient is te car been witing for since ever, tx vw. hope the camper verison will be just as good proportioned and desigened as the multivan, thanks for te review, cheers

A great review finally by not choosing the top spec van. The space between the 2 rows of rear seats when facing each other in the short wheel base in this video looks too small to allow leg space for two people. It even looked too small for even you to sit straight

This is Volkswagen's fault. This review clearly shows how little space for passengers in the back. The head almost touches the ceiling. When the middle seats are deployed, there is no legroom for passengers. And this is Multivan? This is some kind of Sharan.

Renault missed a trick with over styled mk 5 Espace....this vw has copied so many great features found in my old mk 4 Espace eg individual seats on rails and loads of airy glass.!

I don’t understand how everyone combines (adds together) the petrol power of 150 Hp with the electric power. Do the electric motors run at the same time as the petrol drive train? I thought in hybrid cars the electric motor stops at certain speeds and the petrol engine starts, in which case it must be incorrect to add the two power figures together to say it has over 200 hp. Also with a power of 150 hp and 200 Nm torque it seems a little under powered. My t5 has 174 hp and 340 Nm. Hp to weight ratio is same but the t5 has 140 Nm more torque which will definitely feel low on acceleration compared to the t7 150hp

This is no Hybrid car. It is a pure petrol 1.5 TSI with 136 hp. The eHybrid has a system power output of 160 kW (petrol 1.4 TSI 110 kW, electric motor 85 kW).
