One of the best sounds produced by a family car. Pity VW killed off their exciting and exotic side. Yes, 300bhp 2.0tsi are insanely good, but the exotic nature of unique engines such as VR5, VR6, W8 cannot ever be matched again.

I have the American version of this car......unfortunately! But it does have the same engine and front brakes at least....it also has the Passat CC front seats.

I had it custom-made at a car store in Tokyo. The silencer has a variable valve mechanism that allows you to switch between straight and silent.
