Wouldn’t the U lights just come on by themself without the dipped beam when you switch to only sidelights to be on for the headlight switch?

The U lights do turn on but i want them to be the only thing that is on when i switch to sidelight. The headlight switch doesn't change it ever since I got the auto headlight switch so I bought a different type and it still doesn't change it, so I'm either going to have to mess around with vcds to get it to work properly or just go back to using a stock headlight switch ( witch is odd as the first i got was for a polo 6r, the 2nd one I got isn't but it works better than the 1st one but it has its problems )

Hi fella. Question on a previous video. How’ve you found the bonnet struts to be? Are they reliable and eased up after some use? Also, when you open the bonnet it makes a clunk noise? Is it as bad in person as it sounds on video and has it caused any damage

I love the bonnet struts, one of my favourite mods I've done to the car. In terms of reliability, I can't say anything bad at the moment as they haven't failed me yet. When I first installed them, they were very strong so closing the bonnet was hard and it would open with a lot of force, but now after having them on for a while they have mellowed alot which is really nice, the bonnet isn't super hard to close anymore and it doesn't open with extreme force. The clunk noise is the bonnet latch hitting the top of the release mechanism, it's a noticeable sound, it's not as loud anymore but only by a bit. In the stut video I mentioned opening the bonnet was much harder, that was something I didn't like so I got the bonnet release cable adjusted at a local shop so it felt normal again when opening the bonnet. Other than that everything's been good, no damage etc

From comparison, if you have seen other people install's of the Vland headlights, which seem like a hassle due to the bulb housing having to be trimmed down to fit inside the holder but very simple plug and play, but only mods said the low beams are better then stock vw but the high beam is bad compared to stock. would you say these are on par or even better then the Vlands? for looks, the lighting and do they come with DLR lights? and the main question would be after having them for 6+ months what are your overall thoughts to them and longevity, have you encountered any issues?

I can't properly compare them to the vlands as I haven't owned those. Based on looks I prefer these ones over the vlands and the install was easy no need to modify anything ( if I just fit a smaller high beam I wouldn't have had to cut a hole in the cap ) the DRL are my favourite thing about these headlight because they look so aggressive and after having them for a while I haven't had any issues with them either. For ease of install I'd say these are better but if you don't mind the slight trimming on the vlands then I'd say it just comes down to whichever design you prefer the look of

At the back of each headlight there are 4 screws 2 for each bulb and when you turn them they adjust left and right and up and down

Has anyone tried to install these headlights on H4 type? Is it plug-and-play? I've seen some people tried and it works, but I need confirmation

It might physically fit into the headlight but you might need some sort of adapter as the h4 has 3 connection points whereas the h7 has only 2
