3M sells a rubber disc that you attach to a drill motor, looks like a large 3/4" eraser, will strip that old adhesive tape right off.

1 key should unlock doors and also work for the ignition no? Pretty sure that's the way they were from the factory, mine is anyway (1978 2 door German made). Really like your rig sir!

I see this truck when I visited Al at Retrofication. It was still on US plates then. Im sure he and his mate imported the two pickups you speak of.
