Nice car ! I caught Scirocco fever twice . I bought an 79 Scirocco 1.6L with 4 speed manual and in 1981 traded it in for 1981 Scirocco S 1.7L w/5 speed manual . Never seen a Scirocco with yellow school bus color but saw a 1975 VW Rabbit that color . The red trim grill came off SciroccoS . It's more than 40 years old car and original parts are hard to find . Even the original parts were not designed to last ...IE ..the dashboard cracked after 3 years was normal . The coil springs became weaken and bottom out after 45K . If you park too much out in the sun the seat fabrics and the foam underneath deteriorated...etc... but Scirocco was a very fun car to drive...

congratulation tres tres belle,the most wanted is the ts with double body carbs and the front turn ligth do'nt go in the fender, pretty damned rare,any way her any can of mk1 sirocco are almost impossible to found

There were scirocco GTI MK1 in Germany. But not imported to the US.
