How strong is the 1.0 engine when going uphill ? Thinking about buying this beauty but not sure if I should go for 1.0 TSI or 1.6 TDI

Depends a bit on how heavy the car is charged. If you drive it alone no problem, but if you are heavy charged it might struggle a bit

Yeah, I've driven it. I didn't know beforehand that it was a 3cyl with that small a capacity, and I would never have guessed. It's strong from 1000 to 6000. It's also totally smooth - no difference to 4cyl engines. Only thing I noticed was that the motor brake is very weak, compared to what I'm used to driving. Overall very impressive work by VW.

@@tobiasrieper2999 Wenn man ihn nicht so fährt wie er, und regelmäßige Wartungen machen, sollte er lange fahren. Ich habe auch einen VW Polo 1.0 TSI aus dem Jahre 2014 mit sage und schreibe 140000 km auf der Uhr. Ich trete ihn fast nie, und der schnurrt wie am ersten Tag.

1) Not that fast 2) a lot of engine noise 3) bad quality material of the interior. 4) expensive car Why not go for the skoda kamiq cheaper and better?
