I LOVE Syncros. I'm obssessed with them! I have a 1984 T25, but standard 2-wheel drive, so not quite in the Syncro league, but I can't get enough of these square beauties! Unreal vans. One day...one day...

the t3 was a very good off roader, but there where some T4 in the back ground. would like to see/know how they did on the rocky sections.

How many Syncros had the original VW drivetrain--viscous coupler and locker or lockers?

All of them had the original syncro 4x4 system, most had at least one locking diff, but a couple had open diffs front & rear.

The best bus x 4 x far. Incredible tool. Why VW stopped production of this is beyond me, they came up with nothing to better it.
