Thank You for watching! Yeah the wind was a bit of a pain but i still wanted to try and show what you can do in ‘real world’ conditions. On your drive or in an open barn and not in a perfectly still sterile spray booth. I think it has turned out ok. No clear coat. This is the finish.

The ven looks good, I like the color but the paint isn't as hard wearing as you think. I did my old MX5 with the same paint. It looked great but after a few months I did have to do a lot of touching up.

Mate you just F..ked everything up Done so much prep ,u painting with cans having compressor next to you 25 quid spray gun from Aliexpress some pu solid paint of ebay and your van would leave for another 3 to 4 years After 4 months you will Redo everything. Unfortunately You can see already 2 big patchen on the side thag will always stay there if you don't do the whole side again. If you planing to go paintballing on ya van it should be Ok. Thank tou for you videos. Just have a think before you put it back together and do it all again with proper 2k paint. You can buy solid colours already mixed very cheap on ebay.

Thank’s for watching and thanks for the comment. Not really F..ked everything up as this is the paint and finish i wanted to do to MY van so I did it. Yes a ‘better’ finish would have been achieved with a compressor, spray gun and 2K paint but i wanted to produce a video showing that painting a van with rattle cans IS possible if that is the finish you want to achieve. The beauty of this paint is also that any damage caused during day to day use can very easily and cheaply be repaired. The 2 patches on the side as mentioned in the video will be sorted by spraying that area again.

That’s the best paint... people say you need automotive specific paint but I can assure you that is so much better, it’s made to last years outside and the finish of that paint is amazing, in fact any graffiti artist paint is perfect for that

Loving this!!! Montana Gold is awesome, sure you can find it cheaper though. The nozzle you referred to as a fat cap is actually an italic, fat caps give a fast/wide area of coverage, but in a regular circular shape.

Great video, love the colour (my personal choice would be gloss/shine) so I would put a gloss clear lacquer over the top, be a great finish. I have done a few spray jobs with cans, we keep the cans of paint in a hot water bath (Not to hot) camping stove and large saucepan, filled with water, thins the paint, increases the pressure in the can you can have 4 or 5 cans ready to go, does a good job well very reasonable. 😉 It’s coming on nicely though 👍

No lacquer, the paint is pretty hard wearing. I have a few friends that have used this paint on their van’s and it has lasted pretty well.

Warm cans don't make the paint thinner, it's makes it dry quicker as the solvent is warmer..

Took your tip so I ordered a couple of tins to compare as Im not sure how it looks (in real life). NOWHERE can match the price OR the colour I want . RUSTOLEUM cant match the colour either and I dont dig the 'orange peel' effect - so its THIS! UPDATE: Ordered the colours I have chosen on a bit f the van from Graff city and its MEGA! Thanks for the tips! Sprayed a small bit of the van and it looks great.

Well done Dan!! It's NOT easy, but with time and effort you made cheap rattle paint look great. However, lots of people make expensive 2K paint with a compressor look shite. New subscriber after watching this video.
